Privacy Policy

Mise Logic Lab Inc. ("we", "us") is a federally incorporated Canadian company, based in Victoria, British Columbia, that operates the Mise Logic Lab platform. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC's PIPA).

• Account info: name, email, restaurant name, password hash.
• Business data: recipes, invoices, vendor info, sales, inventory counts, food-safety routine logs, health-and-safety records, training and policy data.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser info.
• Payment info: handled by our payment processor, Paddle; we do not store full card numbers.

• To operate the Service and provide features you request.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails (password reset, receipts, account notices).
• To improve the Service, including via anonymized aggregate analytics and AI model training as described in our Terms.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We share personal data only with:

• Service providers (cloud hosting, AI inference, payment processing) bound by confidentiality.
• Legal authorities when required by law.
• Successors in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your data may be processed in Canada, the United States, and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We use contractual safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest.

We retain Customer Data while your account is active and for 30 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing aaron@miselogiclab.com. You may also withdraw consent for non-essential processing, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, row-level security in the database, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage strong passwords and account vigilance.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
